Carrie Schneider

Educational Experience

Carrie graduated from UC Davis with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology. After
completing an internship in Zooarchaeology at Tel Aviv University in Israel, she came
back home with limited job opportunities. She obtained a job at a small CPA firm and
started taking accounting classes at Pierce College. She then went on to enrolling in
accounting and business classes at UCLA Extension, and earned her Certificates in
Accounting and Business.

Professional Skills

Carrie has worked in the accounting field for over 9 years. Starting as an administrative
assistant and payroll assistant at a small public accounting firm, she became adept at
bookkeeping and payroll processing. From then Carrie increased her skills as a
bookkeeper through coursework and work experience, and eventually became an
Accounting Supervisor. Over the years, Carrie has become skilled at reviewing general
ledgers and making adjusting journal entries for tax returns, 1099 preparation, payroll
tax, sales tax returns, Statements of Information, and various other business filings. She
has become proficient in various service industries such as doctors, dentists, insurance
brokers, wholesalers, and has become an expert in maintaining lawyers’ client trust
accounts.
