Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, Garrett Hellman embarked on a journey that took him from the sunny shores of Florida to the vibrant landscapes of Texas and eventually to the bustling metropolis of Los Angeles. After spending some time in Austin, Texas, Garrett made his way to Los Angeles, where he not only established his career but also built a family. Married and proud father of two children, Garrett's commitment to excellence extends beyond his professional endeavors and into his personal life.

Garrett is a seasoned Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) with a wealth of experience in accounting, audit, and financial consulting. His journey began at the University of South Florida, where he graduated with Honors, earning a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Committed to continuous learning, Garrett pursued advanced studies, obtaining a Master of Accountancy in Audit/Systems, supplemented by a minor in Criminology, showcasing his multifaceted approach to problem-solving.

A member of prestigious honor societies such as Phi Sigma Theta and Sigma Alpha Lambda, Garrett's academic achievements laid the groundwork for a successful career in accounting and finance.

Upon obtaining his CPA designation in Florida in February 2014, followed by California CPA in July 2020, Garrett continued to expand his professional repertoire. He demonstrated his commitment to combating financial malpractice by passing the Certified Fraud Examiner test with the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) in August 2024.

Garrett's career trajectory saw him garner diverse experiences in prominent firms. At Edward Jones, he honed his skills in investment portfolio assessment and business development. Subsequently, at Baumann Moreau Consulting Group and Krusoe & Associates, P.A., he delved into tax, business valuation, forensic accounting, and economic crimes investigations.

Joining KPMG in January 2014 marked a significant milestone in Garrett's career. Rising swiftly through the ranks, he assumed roles of increasing responsibility, culminating in his appointment as Audit Special Assignment Manager. In this capacity, Garrett led international teams, received accolades for his outstanding performance, and provided professional services to multinational corporations, navigating complex regulatory landscapes with finesse.

In August 2019, Garrett embarked on a new chapter, transitioning briefly into industry before co-founding Neu Wave Consulting, LLC in November 2019. This venture embodied his vision to revolutionize traditional accounting practices, delivering streamlined and value-added services to clients. Subsequently, in November 2023, Garrett spearheaded the founding of GHRB Consulting, LLC, further expanding client service offerings, leveraging new technology for accounting, bookkeeping, taxes, financial reporting, CFO and controllership services, business optimization, compliance, and various other aspects of business operations.
